It’s been a while since I’ve posted a Sunday Post. Life is busy, wonderful, tiring, frustrating, happy, etc. and as you can see, my blog has been reduced to primarily posting the weekly photo challenge. But just so you know, I miss you and your blogs. I miss taking time to write and reflect, not that I’m not writing these days. I am. But it is all academic and sterile and boring. It has to be done though, to move me to where I want to be. So other than jaunts away from the house to shoot photos now and then (R&R away from the books), I haven’t done much creative ‘stuff’ (unless you count gardening ~ another activity that revives my spirit). Today however, on a whim, I checked out the theme for the weekly Sunday Post. Splendid! Wow! I couldn’t pass this one up. There are soooooo many images and thoughts and experiences that fit this theme, the most difficult part was choosing what to publish. Due to the fact that I have another paper due later today, and other assignments to work on, too, I will post a few images that have yet to see any published page! I hope you enjoy. And thank you for stopping by to see what I’ve been up to. I always appreciate it. And I ask your forgiveness that I am sporadic about visiting your blogs. I do hope that in good time I will be able to return to blog hopping but now the priority is to finish school (Dec. 2013, B”H). I think the water lillies are my favorite, but they are all spectacular!
I love the water lilies, too. They are not as easy to photograph as one might hope, and I’ve been “honing” my skill all summer to get those shots. So glad that you like them. 🙂

Wow.. thank you! I love Lotus flowers but I can never seem to get a good shot… the sunlight is always so harsh! …And I never seem to have a light diffuser panel or an assistant!!!
I was really fortunate the days I took these shots. No diffuser or assistant, just happened to be at the right place at the right time with the right light. Sometimes it just works!
You’re so right! Sometimes everything just comes together!!! That’s why we all should get out there and shoot, shoot, and shoot… it increases our odds of getting “that” shot!
