Today the sun shines brightly. No rain. No snow. I bask in its warmth and enjoy rays of light and joy streaming through my window. Temperatures today rise into the 50’s, possibly 60’s. A wonderful way to bring January to a close, to bring River of Stones Jan ’12 to a close. Today looks bright.

I thank you for following my River of Stones Jan ’12. It has been fun, a challenge I am glad I accepted. To intentionally take a moment or two each day to notice what was going on around me, to notice what I was seeing and feeling was quite extraordinary. We think we notice life, and we do quite often. But I doubt that most of us do so with intention, at least not on a daily basis. Yes, this has been fun, and enlightening.
On the other hand, I can also say that I am glad River of Stones has come to an end. I need a break. My coursework is becoming more intense by the day. As much as I love to blog, as much as I love to read your blogs, I will have to cut back for the coming weeks, possibly months. Please forgive me for neglecting to visit your sites as much as I have in the past. Unfortunately I will drop by even less for the foreseeable future. I will do my best to post once a week about the No Comfort Zone 2012, and the Creativity Every Day 2012 Challenges, but I can’t promise. I also plan to keep up with the Weekly Photo Challenge, but again, no promise. So, let’s go out and enjoy the day, bask in the sunshine, and celebrate the lives we’ve been blessed with! 🙂
