Thanks to the WordPress Reader, I’ve been perusing other blogs to “catch up” on what I’ve missed while immersed in my studies. I see that this week’s photo challenge is “community.” My first thought was to skip this challenge and jump into it next week. But FrancineInRetirement‘s blog reminded me that “community” applies to many beings and things. So here is a shot that was taken about a week ago that certainly fits the bill. 😉 Thanks Francine.

That is a fantastic “community” picture! I was thinking I would skip the challenge this week, too, since I avoid posting pictures of people, but this has gotten me thinking in a different direction, and I might be able to come up with something.
Hi CJ,
that was my sentiment, too. And Francine’s blog inspired me to think in a different direction as well. Glad this gave you some ideas. I look forward to seeing your post.
oh that is perfect Cecelia
Why thank you, Jo! Glad you like it (or rather “them.”)
Congratulations on getting your degree. I’ll be anxious to hear what’s next. AND so glad you’re back in the loop.
Thanks Nancy. The last year (internship) was grueling, but it was an amazing experience, too. BUT I’m glad to be done with that part of the journey. I’ll take a few weeks break and then hope to get work by early 2014. I am always happy to see you here. 🙂
That’s a beautiful, little community! 🙂
Thanks Rebekkah, they are delightful to watch.
Lovely Cecelia, I also wondered if i should give it a miss this week, as ‘people’ is the first thing that comes to mind. Then I ended up doing 2 entries! LOL I could go on and on with the animal community…
Thanks for the ping-back too hun 🙂
You are quite welcome, Amanda! Thanks for stopping by. 🙂
Ohh I’m so fond of birds! This picture is so well captured 🙂
Thank you! Glad you like them. Thanks, too, for stopping by.
