Hello! Y’all have been on my mind a lot lately. I am swamped in studies, writing, deadlines, clients, etc. (and loving every minute of it) but I’m getting anxious to get back to a routine that allows me the freedom to blog and “chat” with folks around the world. Despite the heavy demands of studies and work, I do manage to get out at least once a week to soak in nature–breathe the fresh air, walk through the forest, linger beside a lily pond, listen to the birds chirping–and be rejuvenated. Since it has been a while since I’ve shared photos, I decided to post a few for your enjoyment. These were taken this summer in Kentucky and Ohio. Enjoy. 🙂
Beautiful photos!!! 🙂
Thank you, edelweiss. So glad you like them. And thanks for stopping by. It is good to see you.
😀
I love the photos! Is the waterfall Brandywine Falls? We visited Brandywine last summer, and your photo looks similar to my photos of the falls (except there’s more falling water in your photos).
Funny, I was just thinking about your blog this morning and wondering when you would publish a post again. What a pleasant coincidence!
CJ,
Yes, Brandywine Falls is about a 30-minute drive from our home. I’m impressed that you recognized it. We have had an unusually wet summer this year–rain every day it seems–so the falls are at full capacity! 🙂
You must have been calling to me because posting a blog was on my mind all day. I had so many other deadlines looming that I did not intend to post anything. But by the end of the day I succumbed to the temptation. What fun!
Lovely photos. It’s always good to hear from you. It looks like someone’s parakeet escaped.
Hi pattisj,
Good to see you here. Yes, that one was in my parent’s backyard in KY. That makes two escapees I’ve seen this summer. LOL.
Absolutely gorgeous impressions!
Thank you Dina, for the compliment and for stopping by. 🙂
So glad you’re enjoying your work and studies–and that you still find time for your wonderful nature photography.
Thanks Nancy. Yes, I have finally found my niche, and I love it. But I also need time away from clients and academia. Nature photography is my therapy! I make it a point to go out at least an hour or two each week, if not more.
It is good to see you here. My regards to Jim.
Cecelia, thank you so much for taking time out and sharing your striking images from Ohio and Kentucky.
Hi Barbara,
