This challenge stumped me. I looked through the archives and found nothing . . . or so I thought! Most of my photography falls in the close-up or macro categories. How does one depict “big” when the photographs are mostly about small things. But then it occurred to me that ‘big’ really is in the eye of the beholder!
Far from great shots–animals move around a lot, and the background is messy–but it fits the challenge, don’t you think?

a great choice. That first shot made me chuckle!
Glad you liked it, Joss. Thanks for stopping by. 🙂
I love it! It made me chuckle.. did the chipmunk invade the poor bird’s feeder? Looks like something my younger brother pulled on me all the time when we were children. So much for “big” sister there.
At first I was irritated with the chipmunk, but as I watched, I found the birds reactions quite entertaining. 🙂
This is excellent! I really enjoyed this challenge and, like you, had to decide that BIG is relative. 🙂
Your post was excellent! Thanks for stopping by. 🙂
Big is defintely relative. I like your entry Cecilia.
Thanks CG. Glad you like it. 🙂
That reminds me — call me anything but don’t call me late fo dinner. This is funny.
Hahaha… Yes, the sparrow seems to be a little anxious about the meal that the chipmunk is scarfing down!
Perfect for big. Animals give so much joy
Glad you like it. 🙂 Thanks for stopping by.
Cecelia this was great – that first shot is just too good
Thanks Jo. It was fun to watch the birds dance around the chipmunk. 🙂
I think those shots are perfect for the challenge – I especially like the first one where the bird is standing on his tippy-toes to see what’s in the dish – very cute!
Thanks Barbara. Glad you like them. 🙂
Stunning images for this week topic big 🙂
