Now that I’ve had a chance to go through the photos and do some editing, here is what I went to the Cleveland Botanical Gardens to see!

Superb! Thanks for sharing the beauty. Do you have one favorite flower among them all?
The reason I posted so many is because I couldn’t choose a favorite, or even a couple of favorites. It was a dazzling show! 🙂 Thanks for stopping by. 🙂
I love orchids. I am particularly fond of Georgia O’ Keefes paintings of orchids as well….Nice…Peace Jaz

Gorgeous! Hope you have a Sunday every bit as lovely as these orchids!

Thanks Kathy. I expect this to be a “lazy” Sunday, a relaxing day. Lovely!
Thanks for stopping by.
Hugs back,

Gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous! 🙂
Thank you, Robin. Glad you like them. 🙂
I tried growing these things a long time ago. Not successful enough to make it a lasting hobby. What was interesting was that some needed more nurturing than a new born baby while some thrived with little attention at all.
I never tried growing them. I have a friend who does so as a hobby, but his take hours of work just to keep them alive. As long as someone else is doing the nurturing, I will do the enjoying! 🙂 Thanks for stopping by, Carl.
Each one more beautiful than the last one!
Margie, I couldn’t stop snappin photos. I felt that I was overdosing but I just couldn’t stop. The whole day was glorious, filled with color and sunshine. I was beside myself. Wish you could have been here to share it with me! 🙂 Glad you enjoyed the photos.
Gorgeous! Isn’t it fun to shoot flowers?! I love that…
…and I see I’m not the only Georgia O’Keefe-lover around here *smiles*
Yes! Flowers are one of my favorite photo subjects! Georgia O’Keefe is certainly a favorite of mine, and of others too, I see! 😉 Thanks for stopping by. 🙂
Cecelia, I didn’t realize there are so many kinds of orchids. Your photos are stunning.

Thanks, Joss. I’m glad you liked the show. I am happy to share it with all of you. 🙂
Just lovely! A feast for the eye.
Thanks Sorin. Glad you enjoyed the show. 🙂
Lovely shots! My wife has never tried growing them but she keeps getting thrown away orchids that are nothing more than stems and she gets them to bloom again and again.
Is the header of your blog a magnolia? Another commenter alluded to that. I love those flowers, whatever they’re called. The centers remind me of banana-flavoured marshmallow candies.
The tree grows right outside our apartment building, but I’m not exactly sure what it is. I tend to agree with you that it is some type of magnolia. It is beautiful when it is in bloom.
Stunning! 🙂
Thank you. It was a beautiful display. 🙂
