I wasn’t going to enter this week’s challenge because earlier I posted to Jake’s Sunday photography challenge. But as I sat here today, looking out my window, I noticed that the trees were already growing buds in readiness for spring. It seems rather early to me, but then we are nearing the middle of February. I love Spring more than any other season because it signals rebirth and new life. Color gradually reappears in the landscape, and even the chirping of the birds has a spring-time lilt to it. I am so ready for Spring and the renewed energy and zest that comes with the season. So, while these photos are nothing special, they take on meaning when seen in the scheme of life’s ongoing cycles. The trees are readying themselves to burst forth in bloom and color in spring! So am I! 🙂

Your photos are great. I’m ready for spring as well.
BE ENCOURAGED! BE BLESSED!
Thank you, francine. I always appreciate your comments. 🙂
Actually, very tonic images, full of positive energy. The colors, the light, the main subject, all contribute to this.
But I still don’t understand how can you think of spring… 🙂 Back here in southern Finland, we are still under half meter of snow. Ok, true, the birds are singing all day long. They must know something… 🙂
Sorin, I do not think that I would survive very well in Finland in the winter! Not even southern Finland. 🙂 Spring and Summer are my favorite seasons of the year. And if the birds are chirping all day long, then Spring can’t be far behind regardless of how much snow there is! 😀 Thanks for stopping by. I always appreciate it.
Beautiful shot, love the lighting, I love spring too.
Thanks for stopping by Polly. We will celebrate when Spring finally arrives! 😉
Looks like you are having fun with your new photo editing program! We have buds here too, crazy, but I’ll take it! Margie
Thanks for stopping by, Margie. I am SOOOOOO ready for spring! To look out the window and see all the trees in bud was surprising. We have had a very mild winter here.
These photos are far beyond “nothing special” there are singularly great and as a whole quite moving. You know from my work I love color, and the color in these pieces are strikingly intoxicating. In a simpler expression…nice work.

Ah, SPRING!
It’s impossible to say it and not smile!
🙂
YES! Just thinking about it brings a smile to my face! 😉
Perfect choice and yet, it concerns us all that the warmer weather has prompted early budding and flowering… I guess we must always be ready for anything. 😉
Yes, it is a little unsettling to see spring-type weather this early in the year. I only hope that when the cold returns, the trees are not damaged. We’ll watch and wait! Thanks for stopping by.
thank you for the pingback, Elizabeth. Much appreciated. 🙂
