Rain, you are here again. You came uninvited. Rain, drop by drop you flood the already saturated ground.
I look out my window in despair . . . no, not despair, it’s boredom. Boredom with the same-old-same-old. But I’m holed up inside anyway. Fever is subsiding. Headaches continue to bother. Homework awaits completion, so Rain, do what you must. I’m inside for a while anyway. When the sun chases you away, maybe I’ll be ready to again venture out beyond my lair.
Rain, must you visit us so often?

Gosh, I’m sorry to hear you still have a headache. All the rain this past year would be enough to give even a healthy person a pain in the neck.

Rain is boring… It’s pretty much the same here: Today it’s rainy & every day is spent at work, before you have a few hours in the afternoon to enjoy the “freedom”…

sorry to rain on your parade – but i love the rain. it has its own unique beauty – and you have just inspired me to post some rain images in the future. just as well i do, considering i live in a coastal rainforest zone 🙂
but i understand that if you are not used to it, and it keeps coming and coming, that it can be tedious if it has not become your friend yet. and so for your sake, may it stop soon!
