A River of Stones: Day 8

Ah Ms. Moon, are you wooing us to gaze at you tonight? You romantic thing, sending us your soft light, have you come to tease us a bit? Are you trifling with other lovers in other places, or are we the only ones to tango with you on this night? Uh, Ms. Moon so beautiful up in that sky! Do you flirt like this with everyone you meet, or have you saved your coquetry just for my lover and me on this crystal clear night?

  1. Okay, stop looking inside my head. I just came in from taking moon shots for a post this week, came in and your post was waiting. This is getting spooky!!! Don’t you have school work to do for goodness sake?! Margie

    1. Yes it is getting spooky, and yes, I do have school work to do. But it was the moon. How could I resist?
Thanks for stopping by, Margie. I can’t wait to see your photo. Have a great evening and we’ll see what we come up with tomorrow! 😉

I love it, your romantic stone. And fantastic photo! lovely.

    1. Please do! I LOVE to see other people’s photography. And sometimes we just happen to luck out . . . like I did with this moon shot tonight! Thanks for stopping by. I appreciate it, 🙂

  3. I shot the moon last night too! Its white in this side of the world actually, too bad i didn’t get such an amazing back drop, the new job doesn’t let me see too much of daylight i am afraid 😦

    1. It is too bad that you don’t get out as much as you use to. I hope you like your job. I still enjoy your blog and hope you can keep it up. Have a wonderful evening, and thanks for stopping by. 🙂

  4. Miami’s moon was similar last night. (Well of course it’s similar Carl it’s the same moon, doa) but the sky was blacker and it had a baby blue halo which is not common.

    1. Thanks for stopping by Carl. 🙂 Last’s night’s moon was indeed beautiful. We were out and Richard pulled into a parking lot so that I could hop out and take a few shots of it.

    1. Thanks for stopping by, Kathy. I appreciate your comments. Yes, last night the moon was awesome! and romantic! Glad you liked it, and the writing. I was a bit nervous about that…a little different from the norm.

    1. Thanks! The tree silhouettes turned out better than I thought they would. I had to crop out the very bottom of the photo where the highway and trucks and lights etc were whizzing by. 😉 Richard pulled over into a parking lot so that I could hop out of the car and get some photos…the moon was simply spectacular last night!
