Thank you for the compliment, SIG, AND. . . I agree with you about autumn; it portends cold, ice, snow, etc. to come! I’m a spring and summer gal myself. 🙂
I agree, Huffygirl. Autumn is beautiful, but it ushers in winter. I’m a summer gal through and through. I don’t know how it will be living in Cleveland, OH, through the winter. I am trying to stay positive, but in all honesty I’m a bit apprehensive. Stay tuned. . . .
Thank you Cecelia for those lovely photos.
It is a shame when summer has gone, but, when autumn comes it brings such wonderful colours, then winter and the snow( lots of the stuff here in BG) then spring starts to wake up and hey presto its summer again…. Not long to wait!
Cecelia, I love the turning of a year four times, especially when winter becomes spring and summer becomes fall. Thank you for sharing your photographs.
I love hot weather, so spring and summer are my months. Richard gets giddy at the thought of approaching cold weather! He was born in Samarkand to Polish parents. His idea of a perfect vacation is to go to the Antarctic on a research expedition. Really. 😦 I would move back SOUTH at the drop of a hat.
Glad you like the photos. Thanks for stopping by. I’ll let you know how the winter goes 😉
These are stunning pictures… i love the lilac colors… are those hydrangeas or what? Stunning all. Love the selections Cecelia… Finally catching up again… where did the time go Phew! 🙂
Thank you Elizabeth. Yes, those are hydrangeas. There were a few blooms left on the bush so they stood out from the others that were quite wilted. After this week, I have a bit of catching up to do, too. I am always glad to see you. 🙂
Wonderfully vibrant photos, Ms. F – very, very nice!
(The only thing I dislike about autumn is how dangerously close to winter it is!)
🙂

Beautiful photos Cecelia, although I’m always sad to see summer go. It seems like we wait so long for it every year, and it never lasts long enough.

Thanks for stopping by, Barbara. Spring is my favorite time of year as everything comes back to life. But autumn is beautiful, too.
Lovely photos, Cecelia. Like you, I’m a Spring and Summer gal . . . that’s why we headed SOUTH because the autumn always arrived sooner than I liked.
Good luck surviving your first Cleveland winter. It’s apt to be colder and snowier than DC.
