Hahaha… my wife calls me ‘chipmunk cheeks’ sometimes when we’re eating because I tend to be very graceful like that. S/he pulls it off much better than I do, though – incredible timing, Ms. F!!!
Thanks SIG. Yes, I was lucky for sure! It’s those incredibly rare and wonderful shots that make me glad I keep my camera with me all the time. Of course, toting cameras everywhere makes my husband crazy (“You’re taking a camera to the postoffice?”), but he likes the results, too. I appreciate you stopping by. Have a glorious day.
It’s a lovely series of close-ups. I like the variations and the way you use colours differently from one picture to another. Getting that bee in mid-air is quite an accomplishment. Still my favourite is the next one of the purple flower. Great work.
THANK YOU! I appreciate your kind words. Coming from an accomplished photographer such as yourself, I take that as a true complement. Thanks for stopping by.
LOL! You have a good point. The bee will never know about his fifteen minutes of fame in cyberspace!!! What a pity.
But it’s nice that you stopped by and acknowledged the impact his (or her) awareness (or lack thereof) made on you. Thanks for stopping by.
Thanks for stopping by, MargeKatherine. Glad you like the photos, especially the bees. They are a challenge to photograph so I’m always happy when I get a good shot of them.
Yes, chipmunks live beneath our deck so I watch them scamper around all day gathering up the seed that the birds leave behind. And while we don’t have as many squirrels here as we did in the apartment complex, I do see them around. I’ve gotten some real winners, too. I’ll post a few on my next blog!
I love the first Bee pic
The bee looking straight at us looks quite a character!
Thanks sanstorm. I was really lucky to get that photo, and it is one of my all-time favorites. Glad you like it.
Love that little chipmunk!
He visits our deck every day and cleans up the seeds from the bird feeders. Thanks for stopping by.
I adore the photgraph of the bee. Just look at its little face – cute or waht?
Thanks PiP. I love the bee photos. And I’m so glad you like that face!!!!

Awesome. I like the little squirrel Look at its puffed cheeks
Thanks, scrapydo! Actually, that is a little chipmunk, but he is soooo cute with his cheeks full of seeds. Thanks for stopping by.
Looks like your chipmunk has been eating my bird seed again!
Hahaha… Yes, those cheeks are full of bird seed!
Thanks for stopping by, Annie.

It’s sad to think that bee will never know you made him famous.

What amazing photos – I personally adore the one of the bees – the color and texture make me believe I can touch them!
Thanks for stopping by, MargeKatherine. Glad you like the photos, especially the bees. They are a challenge to photograph so I’m always happy when I get a good shot of them.
The chipmunk is adorable!!! What about squirrels? Do you get any now?
